NHUBLOT BIG BANG ALL BLACK REF. 301.CX.134.RX LIMITED EDITION 250 PIECES This Big Bang Limited Edition is one of the most extreme yet somewhat conventional looking Hublot watches; it represents the contemporary design aspect of the brand that is so vital to its current success. Sometimes the world of watches takes itself a little too seriously, and Hublot is talented at challenging the conservative hierarchy of watchmaking by playing with new materials and concepts. This 250 piece limited edition all black Big Bang doing exactly that. We start with the 44mm wide black ceramic case that retains the right depth and mixture of finishes that make Hublot watches so distinctive. The presence of black is something worth getting used to as jumping into the dial everything (and we mean everything) is finished in black. This is a three register chronograph, with a date window at 4:30 and a modern mix of both Arabic and baton hour markers. From the seconds track to the sub-dial hands and right down to ‘Swiss made’ on the bottom of the dial, everything about this limited edition Hublot is stealthy. In fact, the only noticeable break from the black tone is via the surrounds of the chronograph pushers, the crown, and the exposed screwheads. This Hublot Big Bang is by no means an understated watch, and with only 250 ever produced, you’ll be hard pressed to find another.
